Activate your 3DSecure service for online transactions |

Your MasterCard card issued by Banca Romana de Credite si Investitii S.A. is enrolled automatically in " MasterCard® SecureCode™ " service. The enrolment is free of charge and is meant to protect your card against unauthorized card usage. Please activate your card in order to perform online transactions securely. 3DSecure activation steps: Step 1 - please press "Continue" and then fill in the information in the required format. The initial password has been set up by the system at enrolment and consists of the last 6 digits of your National ID. Step 2 - please set up both an activation password (which has to be minimum 8 digits, maximum 14 digits long) and a welcome message, which will appear each time you authenticate yourself for an online transaction using the 3DSecure service. Using this password for online transactions is the equivalent of using the PIN code for ATM or merchant transactions. Therefore, we strongly advise you not to disclose your password under any circumstances. Once you have activated your 3DSecure service, you will be required to use your password each time you pay online on the merchant websites registered within " MasterCard SecureCode".
